Barça to Host Historic Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou over the weekend

Barça revealed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in La Liga two and a half years after they moved out for construction to commence.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside under the licence granted. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

Preparatory Events

The club conducted an open training session at the Camp Nou in early November. They mentioned they are seeking authorization by UEFA to host the next European match facing Eintracht on 9 December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
